Summer Math Finds:

Pintrest has many sites that relate to learning. There are also times I Google a topic that I will present in my classroom. Today after I ran to Wichita Falls, I decided to check out this website: http://www.bbc.co.uk/bitesize/ks3/ . You can look at a certain grade level, you can look at different school subjects, or you can focus on only 1 item, like decimals.  It has audio and visual tools to learn with, it can teach, review, give you activities, and even test on the topic. See what you think. I tried four of the 6th grade math items. Hope you are having a good summer. - ms mc

First Grade Fairytales: Classroom Pictures & August Currently (Warning! Su...: WOW!  What a crazy week.  I went back to work on Tuesday, and sat through hours of meetings until I finally got to get into my classroom. ...

Wow! this 1st gr. teacher has so much energy and ideas that I want to hang out with her to see if it is contagious.  It is a big jump to 6th grade from here, but many things that warm up a student to learn work at every age level. Thanks Kelly.

Welcome Class of 2020

Hope you guys are having an awesome summer! I gave you a flat Stanley to travel with you the rest of the summer. Enjoy taking him on your vacation, to grandma's house, or even just a trip to the Sonic. We will use him this school year. Hope you enjoy this activity. We did this year before last and last year a little differently. But I think this will be a blast. Hugs and be safe. - ms mc
